A Swim in the Sea

Hi there!
How are you? I've just been for a swim in the cold north sea.The sea was freezing, much too cold for kids, but great for monsters, we love it that way, chilly and grey. We're always really careful when we go in the sea, and luckily for us we didn't meet any of the scary animals that were waiting for Angel the fish along the Great Barrier Reef. Have you ever been there? It sounds amazing...but a bit frightening too!

Tomorrow we're going to put on our warmest clothes, hats, scarves, and boots and go for a long walk along the beach. It's great watching the waves crash in and listening to the gulls call to each other overhead. There are rock pools there for us to explore, with lots of strange sea creatures hidden away, Last time we found a starfish, some crabs, and a jellyfish that had been washed up on the beach. I'm really looking forward to it.
