Superhero Soup

Hi there,
What's happening where you are? I've just finished all my tests at school ... it was horrible! For a treat, and because I worked so hard, my mum is going to take me and my friends to see a film, but I have to tidy up my bedroom first. We'd really like to see a superhero film. How about you, who's your favourite superhero? Perhaps you're a superhero yourself.

I like to invent my own superheroes, drawing their costumes and imagining what special powers they could have (like being able to make homework disappear, or turn cabbage into chocolate). Try clicking back to my website and style your own superhero, it'll give you some great ideas for gadgets and costumes for your own hero .

My favourite is, of course, the one and only Captain Underpants, on his website you can have fun making up new adventures for him in your own Captain Underpants comic.

Uh oh! I can hear my mum coming upstairs, wish I had a special 'tidy up your bedroom' power! I'd better get busy.

Bye for now

Frogs and football

Hi there,

I hope you're well and happy, have you been enjoying the football on TV like me? I've been watching a lot of telly this week because of the rain, it's rained everyday, since Sunday!

Where I live there are lots of frogs hopping round and making a noise, they love the rain. It's sometimes quite nice to go out in the rain isn't it? I like to get out my big green umbrella and put on my wellies and go splashing in puddles. Even if it's not raining where you live, you could make this paper boat and sail it in the bath.

Bye for now.

Football Crazy, Football Mad

Hi there, how are you today?

I've just got in from the rain, luckily I've got my new umbrella so I didn't get too wet.
Never mind the weather, I love football and I'm looking forward to Euro 2008 which starts on Saturday. Are you going to be watching any of the games on TV? Which team are you going to support?. It's too wet to play outside so I'm getting into the mood for the championships with Shot Stopper. My top score's eight, can you beat that?

I'm sure you know that football's not just for boys, girls love football too, just like Jess in Bend it Like Beckham, and Donna in our story Football Crazy, Football Mad. Of course monsters love football, though we have to remember not to eat the goal posts.

Hurray! It's stopped raining, I'm off out to play football with my friends. Speak to you later.

Bye for now.
