Happy New Year

Hi there,
I hope you're having a great 2009.Did you celebrate the new year? I'm still on holiday and have been out in the woods with my friends. We wrapped up well because it's been snowing and very cold here, the pond in my garden was covered in ice this morning, brrrr! I wore my new scarf, my mum gave it me for Xmas, it's bright and colourful and very warm.

There were lots of animals out in the woods, looking for food in the cold weather, squirrels and rabbits, we were really lucky to see a fox running through the snow, it was really beautiful (though not so lucky if you're a rabbit!). And do you know what the best thing is about a walk in the woods on a cold winter day? Yes, it's the hot chocolate my dad makes when we get home, mmmm!
